Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Tekla Steel Designer & Detailer

to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with steel structure designing and detailing for villa projects using

Tekla Structures

. The candidate will be responsible for producing fabrication drawings, calculating raw material requirements, and coordinating with internal departments for procurement and approvals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Steel Design for Villa Works:

Design and model steel components using Tekla for: Staircase frames Balcony railings Canopies / Pergolas Roof trusses / Steel decks Carports Steel gates and fencing Stair stringers Roof steel supports Balustrades / Handrails

2. Steel Detailing & Fabrication:

Prepare and issue accurate

fabrication and erection drawings

using Tekla. Ensure all detailing is in accordance with project specifications and standards.

3. Raw Material Planning:

Perform

raw material quantity calculations

. Generate

nesting sheet summaries

for cutting optimization.

4. Coordination & Follow-Up:

Coordinate with the

procurement team

to follow up on requisitions and delivery timelines. Track and confirm material delivery; coordinate internal material distribution. Liaise with the

commercial team

to follow up on SCO approvals.

5. Standards & Optimization:

Comply with company and

site safety standards

(safe work practices). Optimize design for

minimal raw material usage

. Adapt to

locally available material

options while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

.

2-4 years

of relevant experience in steel design and detailing. Proficient in

Tekla Structures

software. Strong knowledge of

villa construction steel components

. Experience in fabrication drawing and raw material planning. Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with

steel fabrication processes

. Understanding of

nesting software

and material optimization techniques. Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy. Team-oriented and deadline-driven.
