Create 3D models and shop drawings using industry-standard software.
Coordinate between designers, fabricators, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure compliance with AISC, BS, and EN standards for structural steel detailing.
Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
Assist in resolving technical and fabrication-related issues.
Perform
accurate quantity take-offs
and
weight calculations
for steel structures.
Prepare
cost estimates
for:
Steel fabrication
Surface preparation & painting
Galvanizing and fireproofing
Site erection, cranes, manpower, equipment, and transportation
Prepare detailed
pricing sheets
,
cost breakdowns
, and
commercial proposals
.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in
steel structure design, detailing, and estimation
.
Proficient in
Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro
, or similar software.
Strong knowledge of
steel fabrication processes
,
connection detailing
, and
cost analysis
.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
