Job Purpose
Leading the technology sourcing and procurement activities within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the acquisition of high-quality technology products and services at competitive prices. The Technology Sourcing Team Leader will play a critical role in optimizing the organization's technology procurement processes, driving cost savings, and supporting the achievement of strategic objectives.
Key Activities, Responsibility & Accountability

• Manage relationships with technology vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms.

Collaborate with Departments

• Collaborate with various departments to understand their technological needs.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on sourcing assessments
• Ensure sourcing solutions are aligned with departmental goals.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments

Provide Training and Support
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Develop and deliver training in technology sourcing best practices.
• Provide support to staff on sourcing and procurement issues.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization

Monitor and Report on Technology Sourcing Initiatives
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Monitor the performance of technology sourcing initiatives.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits.
• Report on the status and outcomes of initiatives to management

Technology Sourcing Risk Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Identify technology sourcing risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage sourcing risks.
• Report on sourcing risks to management

Technology Sourcing Documentation
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of sourcing processes and solutions.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Provide documentation support to other departments

Technology Sourcing Governance
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Participate in sourcing governance committees and initiatives.
• Ensure sourcing practices align with governance policies.
• Provide input on sourcing governance policies and procedures

Operational Planning
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Provide input into the development of the Department's systems and processes, as well develop, and implement the Section's procedures, identifying opportunities for the continuous improvement of practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor, control and report Operational and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to the Section, to track performance and recommend corrective or mitigating actions.
• Ensure that all relative reports are prepared timely and accurately, to meet the Section's requirements and standards.

Professional Certifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
6 years of relevant experience.
Pref - Master's degree in a related field.

• Extensive experience with technology sourcing tools and technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing frameworks and best practices.
