Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning of virtual environments.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for virtual infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Ensure security compliance, patching, and updates across virtualization platforms.
Document technical processes, system configurations, and operational procedures.
Stay updated with emerging virtualization and cloud technologies to recommend improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience
in IT infrastructure with a focus on virtualization technologies.
Hands-on expertise in
VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
, or Microsoft Hyper-V.
Strong knowledge of
server administration (Windows/Linux)
and networking concepts.
Experience with
storage solutions (SAN/NAS)
and integration with virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with
cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
is an advantage.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g.,
