Our client is a regional leader in data analytics and business intelligence solutions provider specializing in SaaS and RFID solutions.

As part of their growth in the region, we are recruiting a UAE experienced business development specialist with a demonstrable track record of consistent consultative sales achievement in a SaaS environment.

Based in Dubai, the role will focus on lead generation and new business opportunities to build a robust pipeline of sales and acquire new clients.

The successful candidate will be a hunter with a strong commercial acumen who enjoys exceeding sales targets and working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, environment.

Industry sales experience is mandatory - data analytics, business intelligence, Point of Sale, public address systems, retail software, sound systems for public areas, large scale events technology, lighting and RFID.

Role Summary

  • Lead generation to build a sustainable sales pipeline of new business opportunities to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proactive account management of existing clients to cross sell and increase current spend.
  • Prepare pitch presentations, RFPs, tenders and bid submissions.
  • Collaborate with existing and potential clients to develop strategies and opportunities to win new business; consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Work closely with the customer from early in the sales cycle to understand their needs and demonstrate technical thought-leadership to develop a services proposal that is aligned with the technologies that will deliver customer value to meet their business goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to convert customer enquiries into new business wins.
  • Conduct demonstrations and proof of concept to clients.
  • Arrange and conduct technical training for clients.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • 8 - 10 years' demonstrable success in B2B new sales and business development influencing and selling to C-Level executives at enterprise organizations.
  • Minimum of 3 years' SaaS and software sales experience in the UAE related to FinTech, security, data analytics, digital marketing, experiential marketing or retail software.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen to develop profitable value-based services.
  • Demonstrable capabilities in designing solutions that are accurately scoped to meet the customer's business objectives.
  • Proven capabilities in engaging with C-level and senior executive decision makers providing perspective and guidance business and technology strategy, transformation, investments, and innovation.
  • Articulate in proposal writing with an excellent command of the English language.
  • UAE driving license is mandatory.
Candidate Profile
  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates - must be able to live and work in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Agile self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in business development roles where commission is uncapped.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory
