To perform periodic maintenance services and general repairs on customer vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools, working on electrical, mechatronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub-systems across a wide range of automotive models, in line with manufacturer guidelines
Job Responsibilities
Financials
Achieve set targets for sold hours, efficiency, productivity, and overall utilisation
Strategic Implementation
Receive repair orders from the Team Leader and clearly understand the scope of work to be performed
Carry out PMS and general repairs as per the defined scope using diagnostic tools and standard service procedures
Record additional repair requirements and recommendations using the E-Estimate digital application and update the Team Leader accordingly
Demonstrate strong manual dexterity, technical, mechanical, and advanced computer skills
Take ownership of all aspects of the role, working independently with minimal supervision and demonstrating effective self-management
Read and interpret complex documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals, and wiring diagrams
Follow quality control inspection processes to prevent or rectify workmanship that falls below required standards
Maintain a clean work area and ensure personal and workshop tools are kept in good condition
Customer Journey
Ensure full compliance with F1 standards and established guidelines
Handle customer vehicles with the utmost care and in a safe manner
Learning & Growth
Participate in Training Needs Assessments conducted by the Training Academy
Continuously develop technical skills through automotive training programmes
Policies, Procedures, and Corporate Governance
Perform only authorised repairs as agreed and inform the Team Leader of any additional observations or recommendations
For warranty repairs, strictly follow SOPs and guidelines, tag replaced parts with warranty labels, and hand them over to the centralised warranty store
Ensure compliance with automotive standards and process guidelines
Strictly follow HSE protocols and SOP requirements, including the correct use of safety gear for personal safety, equipment protection, and customer vehicle safety
Educational Qualification
2-year ITI (NCVT Certificate), or
3-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an automotive dealership, including at least 2 years in a Technician role
Competencies
Strong technical and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently with attention to quality and safety standards
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Computer literacy
Languages
English (working proficiency preferred)
