Job Description
Overview of the role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technician to support our operations focused on Material Handling Equipment. The Technician is responsible for conducting mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on equipment such as Toyota, BT, and VNA models. The ideal candidate should be up to date with technical product knowledge and demonstrate the ability to resolve issues right the first time.
What you will do:
- Perform advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on material handling equipment.
- Diagnose faults accurately and provide effective solutions, ensuring minimal repeat issues.
- Carry out both workshop and field-based service jobs while identifying and reporting potential issues proactively.
- Follow procedures outlined in service manuals and utilize checklists to improve service quality and efficiency.
- Communicate repair progress clearly with the Foreman or Service Supervisor.
- Maintain productivity and efficiency as per KPIs and service standards.
