Job Description

Job Purpose

The person will be responsible for leading and overseeing the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of rack and pinion elevators, hoists, tower cranes, and other construction and industrial machinery. The role ensures that all equipment is maintained according to safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and operational efficiency requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Daily operations and maintenance activities of elevators (rack & pinion) and construction machinery such as tower cranes, compressors, rollers, and hoists. Plan, organize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in equipment. Manage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and timelines. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and manufacturer's maintenance guidelines. Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and spare parts inventory.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Industrial Automation or related technical field. Minimum 03 - 06 years of experience in maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of elevators, hoists, tower cranes, and other industrial/construction machinery. Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Hands-on experience with ALIMAK and GEDA elevators is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, team management, and communication abilities. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical diagrams, and mechanical schematics. Proficiency in computer-based maintenance systems.
