Job Description

The Technician - Electrical will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. Install, inspect, and test electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures in compliance with regulations and safety standards. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity. Support electrical works for projects, upgrades, and modifications. Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements for electrical systems. Coordinate with other technicians and departments to resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements

Diploma/ITI/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 2years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in [industry--construction, facilities management, manufacturing, etc.]. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and standards. Ability to use electrical tools, instruments, and testing equipment. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and respond to emergencies.
