Overview of the role:

To perform dealership service on customer vehicles in strict adherence to company standards, delivering top-quality results while enhancing productivity and technical proficiency, making a valuable individual contribution to the overall workshop revenue.

What you will do:

Efficient Repairs: Complete assigned repairs within or ahead of standard time frames, ensuring timely service delivery.

Proactive Reporting: Anticipate potential future failures and provide accurate additional job reports, including correct part numbers, to enhance service accuracy.

Performance Tracking: Regularly generate monthly booked hours reports to monitor and optimize productivity.

Workplace Maintenance: Uphold a clean and organized workspace while conducting service and repair tasks, prioritizing safety and adhering to standard job flow procedures.

Quality Repairs: Execute necessary repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards, verifying the correct resolution of issues in a FRFT (Fixed Right the First Time) manner.

Documentation Compliance: Ensure the use of relevant check sheets and log sheets during diagnosis and repair processes, following established procedures for comprehensive record-keeping.

Required skills to be successful:

Mechanical and Electrical Expertise: Possess strong knowledge in mechanical and basic electrical principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.

Proficiency with Workshop Equipment: Be well-versed in the use of relevant workshop equipment and tools, demonstrating competence in their operation.

Technical Documentation: Demonstrate the capability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, schematics, and service manuals, with a deep understanding of body-related information. Stay informed and knowledgeable about all relevant repair manuals.

Basic Computer Skills: Possess fundamental computer skills necessary for the role.

Effective Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.
