Job Description

We are looking to get a skilled Technician with IT knowledge to assist our clients with all technical support issues with the Copiers and Printers. As a Technician, you will meet with clients to determine the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, provide effective assistance, and maintain strong customer relationships. You must also install new software applications and train clients on proper application use of the Copiers and Printers.

To ensure success as a Technician, you should have in-depth knowledge of Copier Machines and printers software and hardware systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. Ultimately, we are looking for a technician who resolves all issues with the Copiers and Printers quickly and effectively while maintaining a good relationship with the client.

Technical Expectations & Responsibilities related to your role are below:

Set up Copier Machines and Printers in various location according to the customers requirements. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications for the Copiers and ensure the Copier Machine is functioning properly according to the demand of the customers. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and the Copier machines and Printers. Configure the Copier Machine and Printers with clients computer and must also do the appropriate networking to connect multiple PC to the Copier Machine or Printer.

Job Specification

Knowledge of servicing Canon Copiers Advanced models are compulsory.

Candidates have to undergo 3 months probation period before selection( if performance is found satisfactory during probation)

Payment will be made during probation.

Have technical know-how and experience to meet above needs. Have knowledge to repair the Copiers and Printers of Brand Canon is a must. The Knowledge of others brands will be a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with excellent English speaking & writing skills. At least 5 years experience as a Technician for Copiers and Printers Excels working individually and as part of the team supporting others. UAE Driving license is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail, using initiative to troubleshoot complex issues and recognize when escalation is required. Ability to plan and schedule workload. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any relevant field. Knowledge in Lan, POS installation, server, network. Knowledge of the consumables and other accessories of the Copiers (Heavy Duty)
