Job Description

TIM Aerospace is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Technical Writer who can also support our Safety & Compliance team by assisting with safety data tracking and reporting. This dual role position is essential to ensure clear, compliant technical documentation while supporting the development of a strong safety data monitoring culture in line with EASA requirements.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, write, and edit technical documents including the Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), procedures, manuals, and training materials in alignment with EASA regulations. Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and operations teams to gather accurate technical input. Ensure all documentation meets company standards and EASA regulatory requirements. Maintain document version control, formatting, and traceability. Support the collection, input, and analysis of safety and compliance data (e.g. MORs, internal reports, audits). Assist in compiling safety reports, dashboards, and trend summaries for internal use and safety committees. Help maintain and update safety KPIs and assist in tracking open safety actions. Support internal audits and investigations through structured reporting and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:



Any Diploma Certified, or a related field or equivalent. 5 years Experience in technical writing within a regulated industry, preferably aviation, aerospace, or engineering. Proven ability to develop regulatory or procedural documentation in compliance with EASA Part-145 or equivalent standards. Strong command of English with excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills. Comfortable interpreting technical and regulatory content and presenting it clearly. Keen eye for detail and ability to work independently across multiple priorities. Basic understanding of safety reporting, trend analysis, or willingness to learn. Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and (ideally) SMS/QMS platforms. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and word. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

Preferred (But Not Essential):



Previous experience working in or with an EASA-approved organisation. Exposure to aviation safety reporting systems or regulatory audit processes. Background in aviation maintenance, compliance, or safety management.
