About the role

This position is for a seasoned professional who responds to customer calls, troubleshoots complex customer issues, provides training to customers, and performs complex data analysis. Provides guidance to less experienced team members and makes changes to daily work procedures to ensure high levels of performance.

Role Responsibilities:

Comprise, develop, manage, and implement an extensive training plan for all technicians of Carrier Transicold distributors and key customers. Ensuring that the plan is fitting to the product present, number and level of technicians, and the deadlines imposed.

Build, revise, and expand technical training modules and courses as per Carrier Transicold guidelines.

Perform onsite theoretical and practical technical trainings on a regular basis, in accordance with the established training plan, with the applicable process of technician evaluation before and after each training.

Ensure the technicians\xe2\x80\x99 grasp and understanding of the information in the courses and verify technicians\xe2\x80\x99 ability to perform the tasks and procedures during practical trainings.

Work closely with distributors\xe2\x80\x99 training managers. Execute specific training sessions and actively contribute, targeting improvement of capabilities, techniques, and material.

Evaluate the processes, facilities, tools, and staff of the distributor service organization and accordingly report to the regarded parties within Carrier, with the ability to identify shortcomings and recommend different means of improvement.

Administer and monitor Carrier E-Learning platform, ensuring that online courses are published and admitted to within the required timeframe.

Continuously cooperate with the Service and Product Development departments and support in activities related to field tests, service bulletins, technical inspections, and solution implementation.

Uphold a professional company image in all interactions with distributors and customers.

Requirements:

Proven track record of upwards of 10 years of direct experience in maintenance, installation, and repair of transport refrigeration units, including LCV, truck, and trailer cooling units.

A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience

Extensive knowledge of all areas pertaining to refrigeration, insulation and insulated bodies, automotive operation and components, the cold chain, and fleet management practices.

Considerable experience in workshop supervision or management and technical training.

Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work

High coaching competency and excellent communication skills, with receptiveness to understand and respect different backgrounds and cultures.

Readiness to work collectively as a part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement to the organization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint).

Professional competency of English (verbal and written). Competence in other languages such as Arabic, Hindi, and Tagalog is preferable.

Preparedness to perform in the field in workshop conditions, handle tools, and mount maintenance platforms.

Rigorous adherence to health and safety standards and procedures.

Willingness to travel frequently within the Gulf and the Middle East region, occasionally in short notice.
