Technical Solution Manager (TSM) manages the overall technical solution for a customer during the initial roll-out and continues to engage through the entire customer life-cycle as a trusted adviser. This involves defining the technical solution, driving advanced technology when necessary and tasking delivery teams to produce technical deliverables. Essential Duties and Accountability
  • Technical Solution Manager understands technical deliverables of the IFS implementation project per the solution proposed in the sales cycle and provides input to the Project Manager for incorporating them in the project plan.
  • Coordinates all technical activities in the implementation/upgrade project, from initial deployment of software to post go live support.
  • Acts as the point of contact for the customer and the project team and ensures good communications between the technical teams and project team members.
  • Plans/coordinates/tracks progress of Configuration, Reports, Integration and Modification (CRIM) development activities and technical training.
  • Forecasts technical resource demand and secures resources from delivery teams.
  • Resolves technical issues during the project
  • Participates in technical design of CRIM items, makes sure appropriate designs are used in each CRIM item, and the combination of all CRIM constitute a robust solution.
  • Assists/guides the customer with technical configuration, and security setup in the IFS product being implemented.

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years' experience as a Technical Solution Manager/Technical Lead/Technical Project Manager/Software Architect or similar role
  • 5 years' experience in Software Development or Systems Engineering
  • Proficiency in the English Language
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to limited travelling as required
Required Competence:
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced, decentralized, geographically and culturally diverse teams.
  • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Technical Solution Services practice and be able to speak and present to a very high standard on the relevant topics.
  • Familiar with technical processes followed in enterprise application implementations
  • Self-driven and proactive in nature.
  • Arabic language proficiency is an added advantage
