Technical Service Specialist - Oilfield
Purpose
Provide technical service and application support for oilfield chemicals across India, SEA, and MEA. The role bridges sales, R&D, and customers by offering formulation expertise, performance evaluation, and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver technical service and solutions in oilfield chemicals (drilling, production, stimulation). Conduct lab experiments, formulation work, and performance testing. Visit customer sites to assess needs, troubleshoot, and provide application support. Support sales teams with technical inputs, presentations, and product demonstrations. Maintain and operate application labs, ensuring high safety and HSE standards. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry forums. Collaborate with internal teams and global counterparts for project execution.
Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Oilfield Engineering. 5+ years of oilfield industry experience (India/Middle East preferred). Knowledge of oilfield chemicals and surfactants, with strong formulation/testing expertise. Excellent communication and presentation skills; English proficiency a must
