What are my responsibilities?

  • Support the development of project opportunities together with Siemens Energy Hub Sales Team and in close interaction with regional customers.
  • Gain proficiency in the usage of SES internal tools and database.
  • Develop initial optimization studies as required for informed customer discussions and driving internal strategy.
  • Guide customer in technical project specification and consult for most advantageous technology selection with Siemens Energy internal experts
  • Support in development of budget bids, as required.
  • Support in the preparation of bid documents as per client/tender requirements, in line with Siemens Energy process and policies and by utilizing the NEB tool landscape
  • Lead and/or support during internal bid team and external customer meetings, as required.
  • Documentation and follow-up of bid team action items on assigned sales opportunities.
  • Support in the submission of a comprehensive and high quality technical & commercial proposal to Customer.
  • Support in conducting Customer negotiations to finalize the post tender clarifications and contract agreements.
  • Ensure all work is in line with the QA procedures, statutory, regulatory and EHS requirements
  • Abide by and comply with the Siemens Compliance and Business Conduct Guidelines
What do I need to qualify for this job?
  • Experienced professional with more than 1 or 2 years of overall experience. Prior experience in Technical Sales or Bid Management is preferred.
  • Knowledge in relevant technical disciplines such as design/construction/ commissioning project management in relevant industries such as large power plant, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals
  • Experience in H2 Electrolysis technology and related process technology and safety requirements
  • Knowledge in Contract Management
  • Commercial understanding
  • Knowledge in Quality Management methods / tools
  • Profound knowledge of Project Management procedures & tools
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, able to inspire a multifunctional and multicultural team
  • A pro-active high achiever with high energy levels, who is used to working under pressure and to tight / challenging deadlines.

  • Able to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment
  • Willing and able to acquire new technology know-how in the field of power-to-hydrogen and power-to-X
