Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Executive - Facade & Glass Cleaning

Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
Generate leads through market research, cold calling, networking, and site visits.
Promote facade and glass cleaning services, especially for high-rise or hard-to-access structures.
2.
Client Consultation & Technical Assessment
Conduct on-site inspections to assess building types, access methods, and cleaning needs.
Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate cleaning methods (e.g., rope access, scaffolding, BMUs).
Provide technical guidance and answer client queries related to safety, frequency, and service scope.

Proposal & Quotation Management
Prepare detailed proposals, including method statements, risk assessments, and pricing.
Present and explain service offerings clearly to clients, emphasizing benefits, safety, and compliance.
Negotiate contract terms and close deals in alignment with company targets and client needs.
4.
Collaboration with Operations Teams
Coordinate with operations or rope access teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of cleaning strategies.
Communicate job-specific details like building height, facade material, access points, and equipment needed.
Ensure timely handover of project details from sales to execution teams.
5.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with facilities managers, property owners, consultants, and project managers.
Follow up after service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business or annual maintenance contracts.
6.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and innovative facade cleaning technologies.
Provide feedback to management on service gaps, pricing strategies, and client expectations.
7.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all proposed services comply with local safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes.
Maintain accurate records of client communications, contracts, and project progress.
