Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description

  • Responsible for obtaining new and incremental business in UAE (Abu Dhabi) markets to increase market potential
  • Develop new and existing Oil, Gas, Government customers in need of Surface Preparation services, Corrosion & Protection methods and Corrosion (corrosion control) design, installation, testing or rehabilitation services
  • Responsible for obtaining sales to meet individual goals
  • Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts, such as calling on key clients,
  • Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing quotes and proposals and following up with customers
  • Assist in product pricing and logistics with office management team
  • Establish professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer staff
  • Provide weekly activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships
  • Remain current on market trends, competitive activity, and product development
  • Attend trade shows and related conventions as needed to promote company products and services
  • Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required monthly QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of sales experience in industrial or services business development experience with Oil and Gas field customers in Abu Dhabi/UAE region preferred.
  • UAE Driving license is mandatory
  • Experience in selling technical products and services for oil and gas field customers preferred
  • Knowledge of Corrosion Control /Prevention/Coatings methods and tools is an added advantage
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in creating estimates and working through negotiations
  • Strong computer skills using word,Excel and CRM required
  • Must be self-motivated, well organized and a team player
  • Must be able to travel to the potential customer sites
