About the role:


The

Technical Purchaser

is responsible to ensure proper and efficient material purchase in order to supply the necessary support for the Technical Division and to avoid short comings and AOG situations. His duty is procurement of Aircraft / Power-Plant / Landing-Gear Components, General / Standard Parts / Spares, Tools, Modification Kits, Equipment, Instruments, etc. from approved sources at the most competitive price and at the right time to meet the operational and maintenance requirements of routine and special environment by:

Acting as the focal point for supply of priority requirements to Maintenance. Keeping track of orders and expediting when necessary. Monitoring of un-fulfilled Loan and Exchange Orders. Following-up on open orders and submitting reports related to routable, repairable and tools. Keeping close liaison with management, other sections and vendors in resolving the bottlenecks arising in the course of procurement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following qualificaions, experience and skills:

Bachelor's Degree or Technical School Five (5) years experience in material sales or purchase at a vendor or MRO. Prioritisation skills, ability to work to deadlines Strong Communication Skills Ability to work under pressure
