A long-established and trusted global brokerage firm is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Technical Project Manager to strengthen operation department within a dynamic Forex and CFD environment. With over 30 years of industry presence, this firm has built a solid reputation for transparency, innovation, and client success, offering a broad range of CFD products including forex, commodities, indices, and more.
Location: Hybrid - Dubai, UAE
Responsibilities:
As a Technical Project Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Project & BAU Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of trading platform enhancements, new product launches, and BAU tasks.
• Define project scopes, timelines, milestones, and technical priorities aligned with business goals.
• Manage the integration of MT4/MT5, proprietary trading systems, and third-party solutions (plugins, CRM, liquidity providers).
• Monitor project health, identify risks, and ensure timely resolutions.

Agile & Delivery Leadership

• Implement and optimize Agile frameworks across distributed development teams.
• Lead Scrum practices: sprint planning, backlog management, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to refine backlogs and accelerate delivery cycles.
• Champion continuous improvement in engineering and project workflows.

Process & Workflow management

• Design and manage Jira workflows, dashboards, and advanced reporting for transparent project tracking.
• Produce clear sprint reports, burndown charts, and velocity metrics for leadership visibility.
• Integrate Jira, GitLab, and Confluence for seamless collaboration and process automation.

Technical & Team Leadership

• Partner with front-end and back-end teams to ensure scalable solution architecture.
• Prepare technical requirement documents, integration workflows, and solution designs.
• Support engineering and QA teams with technical clarifications during execution.
• Mentor and coach teams on Agile practices, documentation, and delivery excellence.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of technical project management within Forex, CFDs, or financial trading technology.
• Proven ability to manage large BAU operations alongside new development initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 (APIs, plugins, product development).
• Experience with proprietary trading platforms and integrations.
• Strong hands-on use of Jira workflows, reporting, and metrics.
• Demonstrated success implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience coaching multi-functional teams on Agile best practices.
• Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development lifecycles.
• Proficiency with GitLab, Jira, and Confluence for version control and project tracking.
• Skilled in drafting technical documentation, blueprints, and delivery timelines.
• Knowledge of APIs, trading system architectures, plugins, and CRM integrations.
• Strong grasp of Forex, CFDs, derivatives, liquidity routing, order execution, and hedging.
• Exposure to proprietary trading models and controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in regulated financial markets.
• Knowledge of pricing engines and high-frequency trading infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience managing distributed engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (required).
• Master's degree in Technology Management, Financial Engineering, or Business Administration (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM/PSM, AgilePM, ITIL) highly valued.
