Job Title Technical Operator Buses

Description

# Design, implement, test and document disaster recovery plans for of all Operating systems, Applications and
Networks.
# Test the Ic0 and EOD files versions in the simulation before the activation date of operation to ensure the
smooth of operating of bus.
# Fully understand functionality of system touch point with other.
# Resolve troubleshoot and clear software or hardware incidents that might cause the outage of computer
services and business continuity.
# Solve customer complains in Customer Relation Management for NOL issues in the bus and return the amount
in case of wrong deduction through level 4 ACS department.
# Perform other related duties as assigned
# Monitor, maintain 24/7 operation control center from network and workstation availability and coordinate
with vendor to solve the alarms and issues and monitoring the SLA KPI as per contract.
# Configure NFS, NIS&NIS+ ,NTP , network services and install third party Unix software.
# Monitor, maintain 24/7 Journey planner system include websites, 10 Kiosks, Mobile application in 4 platform
(blackberry, Iphone, HTC, Android), Bus SMS services for inquiring bus departures from bus stops, Metro
SMS services and coordinate with vendor to solve the alarms and issues and monitoring the SLA KPI as per
contract.
# Analyze the Complains, Suggestion, Notification, Request, through Customer Relation Management regarding
all system (AVM,AFC,RTPI,JP) and answer the customers to use Level 4 AFC system in AFC department
within the agreed SLA.
# Reach and maintain the highest level of systems availability as per corporate standards.
# Monitor, maintain 24/7 Automatic Fare collection systems include 6000+ Nol devices in Buses and 82+
Ticket vending machine for Nol in Bus stations and stops, and 20+ Ticket Office machine in bus station, and
coordinate with vendor to solve the alarms and issues and monitor the SLA KPI as per contract.
# Ensure understanding of the Unix /Linux/Windows operating systems including familiarity with Hp-Unix and
MC/service guard systems, and OS upgrading.
# Preform site visit for the system to make sure of health of the system.
# Perform 24/7 operations support including advanced trouble shooting skills related to applications, operating
system and networks.
# Use shell scripting for automating tasks and monitor systems functions and alerting through emails and SMS
messaging systems.
# Monitor, maintain 24/7 Real Time passenger Information screens 620 screens, and coordinate with vendor to
solve the alarms and issues and monitoring the SLA KPI as per contract.
# Monitor, maintain 24/7 Automated Bus Management include 3000 Device on the bus, 5 Depot AVM wireless,
and coordinate with vendor to solve the alarms and issues and monitoring the SLA KPI as per contract.
# Solve customer complains in Customer Relation Management for all related system in the section.
# Coordinate with the technical and business staff from other department or government for the IT operations
procedures.
# Evaluate vendor requirements and future system improvements.

Education
# Technical Diploma.
Skills
# Fluent in English reading, writing and speaking. Arabic will be an advantage.
# 3-5 years of working experience
# Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
# Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
# Basic Computer-literate performer.
