Our Client, a well established European Interior Design & Contracting Group, is looking to hire a talented Technical Manager to join their Design team.
SKILLSETS
Bachelors in Architecture/Interior Designing/Civil Engineering
Minimum 8-10yrs of UAE experience in the Interior Fit out Industry specializing in Luxury Villa Projects
Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery and finishing details
Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Excellent understanding of local authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Nakheel, Trakhees and Emaar)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of interior fit-out and design projects, ensuring that designs are translated accurately into executable construction details. The role involves coordinating with design, project, and site teams to deliver technically sound, compliant, and high-quality interior solutions within the specified time and budget. Following are the requisites:
Design & Technical Coordination
Review and validate design drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
Translate design concepts into detailed construction and joinery drawings.
Coordinate with designers, architects, and consultants to resolve technical discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and client standards.
Provide technical support to project and site teams during all stages of the project.
Conduct technical reviews before procurement and execution to ensure design intent and buildability.
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
Maintain accurate records of all technical communications and revisions.
Implement quality assurance procedures related to technical compliance.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for all technical matters.
