We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager with a strong background in contracting within the construction industry, specifically high-rise and hotel projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, managing construction teams, and acting as a site senior architect. This position is based in RAK (Ras Al Khaimah). Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage the technical aspects of high-rise and hotel construction projects from inception to completion. 2. Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulations. 3. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets. 4. Coordinate and supervise construction teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines. 5. Perform site senior architect duties, including reviewing and approving architectural drawings, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance to the construction team. 6. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. 7. Collaborate with project stakeholders to address any technical challenges or changes during the construction process. 8. Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports. 9. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and suppliers. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred. 2. Proven experience as a Technical Manager or similar role, with a focus on high-rise and hotel construction projects. 3. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations. 4. Proficiency in architectural and engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Primavera. 5. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. 6. Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing construction teams. 7. Sound understanding of contract management and procurement processes. 8. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills. 9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. 10. Familiarity with the construction industry in RAK and knowledge of local regulations and standards is a plus. 11. Professional certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), are highly desirable.
