Technical Manager (Drafting & Coordination)
Position: Technical Manager
Number of Vacancies: 1
Reports To: General Manager / Operations Director
Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Drawing Oversight: Lead the technical/drafting team. Review and approve all shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals before submission.
• Compliance & Approvals: Ensure all project deliverables comply with contract specifications, approved design drawings, and local authority regulations (DM, DDA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact for consultants, clients, and authorities for all design and technical approvals.
• Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues and discrepancies during both the design and on-site execution stages.
• Technical Leadership: Provide expert technical guidance and support to project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Project Planning Support: Participate in project planning, value engineering exercises, and constructability reviews to optimize design for execution.
• Tender Support: Support the tendering and estimation teams by providing critical technical inputs, clarifications, and reviewing tender documents.
• Variations: Assist the commercial team in evaluating variations and providing robust technical justifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or MEP Engineering.
• Minimum 10-12 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in a senior technical/managerial role in the UAE fit-out/construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing technical submissions and approvals for large-scale fit-out projects.
• Exceptional knowledge of local authority procedures and regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Offer:

• Salary: AED 15,000 - 18,000 per month
