The main purpose of a Technical Lead is to provide technical direction, leadership, and expertise to a team of software developers or engineers. It can be Technical Guidance, Code Review, Problem Solving, Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members.
• Review and approve technical designs, code, and architecture.
• Creating a framework of technical standards and procedures.
• Analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies.
• Designs features to enhance customer experience and interaction.
• Design and architect robust and scalable software solutions.
• Ensure that software solutions align with the organization\'s business goals and technical standards.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies or platforms for implementation.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, testing procedures, and best practices.
• Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and reliability.
• Implement and champion software development methodologies like Agile or DevOps.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for technical issues and incidents.
• Develop and implement solutions to address technical challenges and system outages.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide career development guidance to team members.
• Identify training and skill development opportunities for team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a software developer or engineer, with hands-on expertise in relevant technologies.
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical technical decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and project management practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems, build automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of software developers and fostering a collaborative.
• Set clear expectations, delegate tasks, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
• Possess strong technical knowledge and stay updated with Banking industry trends and emerging technologies e.g.NDC, DDC, Procash, ATM Switch, Protopas Web Extension & ISO 8583.
