to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining wooden structures and fittings, either on-site or in the workshop. You will work from technical drawings and specifications to deliver high-quality joinery work on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural drawings, client briefs, and design intent into detailed workshop drawings.
Create accurate 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings for production, including cutting lists, material specifications, and hardware integration.
Develop joinery details for custom furniture, cabinetry, doors, wall paneling, staircases, and other bespoke woodwork.
Ensure all detailing complies with manufacturing constraints, industry standards, and health and safety requirements.
Liaise with architects, designers, project managers, and production staff to resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions.
Conduct site surveys (as needed) to verify measurements and fit.
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing records and revisions.
Assist with value engineering and optimizing materials and manufacturing efficiency.
