ROLE PURPOSE:
As a Lead Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which
includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of
application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will work with
solution architects and developers on interpretation/translation of wireframes and creative designs into
functional requirements, and subsequently into technical design.
1. Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and
continual improvement of service.
2. Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test,
manage projects, architect and deliver.
3. Customize Decision Center and Enterprise console to adapt the environment to the needs of business
users by using extension APIs
4. Must have experience of Banking, Microservices, OpenShift container platform, Spring Boot and echannels
5. Must have experience of Banking, SOA Delivery methodology, SOA Center of excellence and
implementation of SOA best practices
6. Core Service design experience that covers the following :
a. Experience with Rest APIs
b. Experience with WebServices.
c. Experience with Implementing different Integration Design Patterns
d. Knowledge of SOA Principles & best practices
e. SDLC & SGLC processes
f. Creating HLD & LLD Documentation
7. Strong Hands-on Development Experience at the following Areas:
a. IBM Data Power Development & Administration
b. IBM API Connect Development & Administration
c. ODM Development & Administration
d. IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development
e. ESQL Development
f. Java Development
g. Oracle/SQL DB Development
h. IBM MQ V9.x related Tasks
i. IBM WSRR
j. Different Integration Protocols (SFTP,TCP/IP,MQ,JMS, HTTPS,WS,REST..)
k. Security & Performance Best Practices
l. prepare IIB Scripts under Linux System
m. prepare MQ Scripts under Linux System
n. Experience with Testing tools like SOAPUI, RPT,RFT, Load runner & PostMan
o. Creates Unit Test Documents & Test case Scenarios
8. Provide technical support for initiatives and track projects/BAU requests/ CRs to closure.
9. Articulate and document business requirements for projects, change requests etc.
10. Follow-up with service teams/vendors for support issues and respond quickly to service tickets in a
timely manner.
11. Extensive experience with standard financial solution components such as core banking,
payments, cards, e-channels, reconciliation, and GL integration.
12. Experience with continuous integration/deployment tools and best practices in DevOps
13. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
14. Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
15. Participate within an Agile/Scrum team, extensive hands on experience with quality assurance
methods.
16. Comprehensive experience in the design and implementation of Continuous Integration, Continuous
Deployment, Continuous Delivery and DevOps Operations for Agile projects.
17. Understand the latest technology trends and provide improvement suggestion in the products.
18. Review the proposal and provide feedback on the same to ensure the completeness of the scope
and quality
19. Provide periodic reports and monthly updates on the ongoing initiatives to department head.
20. Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.
21. Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users' needs and within the agreed upon time
parameters.
22. Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from
line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to ADIB
group including international expansion.
23. Support "go-live' and post 'go-live' activities for projects and any releases to production.
24. Comply with ADIB IT processes, and procedures.
25. Ensure business continuity by conducting periodic system health check, DR rehearsal, security
updates, technology updates, backups, hardware maintenance, software maintenance, license
maintenance, and technical design improvement to assigned systems
26. Timely response to email, tasks assigned and diligent follow-up with various stakeholders.
27. Work some weekend and holiday shift duties on a rotational schedule as needed
