ResponsibilitiesJob PurposeReporting to the Global Technical Development Manager, the position will be responsible for training Repair & Maintenance and Field Operations personnel to the level of competency required for their job position. The training will include Workshop and Classroom courses relevant to Managed Pressure Drilling. Duties & ResponsibilitiesSAFETY, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices and complies with the Company's Rules to Live ByPlace Quality, Health & Safety, Security and protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers or the communities in which we live and work at riskSeeks continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectationsQUALITY Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System Maintain service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvementOPERATIONS Develop a basic, intermediate, and advanced technical training curriculum in conjunction with the Technical Instructors and the Segment Technical Development Manager to ensure that all technical training curriculum learning objectives are aligned with the appropriate Product Line competency standards. This will include development of on-line courses and video training sessions.Deliver basic, intermediate, and advanced technical training curriculum in a professional manner, provide detailed assessment of student performance, and provide comprehensive performance feedback to managers on their direct reports Work with Technical Development Manager to evaluate existing training curriculum to ensure accuracy, relevance, consistency and alignment with strategies and goalsPerform detailed training needs to determine specific curriculum development requirementsSupport the Operations group in developing and completing all required competency standards for their personnel, assisting in their progressions and acting as a Global Assessor where requiredManage the Segment Asset resources to ensure that all training classes are adequately resourced with tools and equipmentAssist in achieving all training department goals and objectives Adhere to Training department policies and procedures Maintain and foster a safe working environment at all timesFINANCE Operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner and within established budgetsUnderstand and support measurements of the return of investmentsAll employees have an accountability to the organization to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expensesCosts incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedureCOMMUNICATION Build a training schedule with the Segment Technical Development Manager that meets the business needProvide classes at the Training Centers and locations as determined by the Technical Development ManagerMaintains effective communications with all key stakeholders, both internal and externalSupervisors & Managers should communicate expectations, roles, and responsibilities to their reportsPEOPLE & DEVELOPMENT Employees have a responsibility for developing their own careers within the Company including completing all necessary function, compliance & business standards training to enhance their knowledge, skills and experienceEmployees should engage on a regular basis with their line manager to discuss their personal performance, objectives and opportunities to enhance their skills and experience to support their career potentialAdditional relevant information about the roleThis position is an office & workshop-based jobThe training to be delivered will be workshop and classroomInternational travel with be a big part of the position QualificationsExperience & EducationREQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science or equivalent qualification or combination of education and experience4+ years related experience years related working experience with the same service in Oil & Gas sectorExperience in training up local teamsWorkshop experience in servicing and maintenance of toolsKnowledge, skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED Meets established criteria of Product Line Career PlansMust possess a thorough understanding of the overall business, with a specific competency related to Product Lines applications/operationsAbility to manage, motivate and assess a dynamic work groupDemonstrated ability to effectively train and mentor personnel in classroom and field environmentsTeam player who can work on own initiative.Ability to communicate with both work force and managementKnowledge of technical training program design and development techniquesAbility to plan, delegate, schedule and monitor resultsGood oral and written communication skillsTechnical minded and very knowledgeable in the product line categoryAble to work under pressure and in varying conditionsAdditional RequirementsValid passport and Driver's license
