Job Description

1. Health & Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, regulations, and company policies Implement and monitor HSE management systems on site Ensure permits, licenses, and statutory requirements are maintained

2. Site Safety Supervision

Conduct daily site inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, confined space entry, hot works, and excavation Stop unsafe work and recommend corrective actions

3. Risk Assessment & Control

Prepare, review, and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements Ensure control measures are properly implemented and followed

4. Incident Management

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses Prepare incident reports and recommend preventive and corrective actions Follow up on implementation of corrective measures

5. Training & Awareness

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training sessions Promote HSE awareness among workers and supervisors Ensure workers are trained and competent for their tasks

6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Ensure availability, proper use, and maintenance of PPE Monitor compliance with PPE requirements on site

7. Environmental Protection

Monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, spill control, noise, dust, and emissions Ensure proper disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste Implement environmental protection measures

8. Emergency Preparedness

Develop and maintain emergency response plans Conduct emergency drills (fire, evacuation, spill response, etc.) Ensure firefighting and emergency equipment are available and functional

9. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and reports Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports Assist in internal and external HSE audits

10. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on HSE matters Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
