Min. 8 years' experience as Technical Engineer/ Technical Coordinator

Qualification - B-Tech/BE in Civil Engineering

Job Responsibilities

1.Coordinate with client consultant structural engineer, architect, subcontractors and suppliers.

2.Raise technical queries/RFI if any discrepancies between architectural, structural and MEP drawings & provide timely resolutions.

3. Participate in technical discussions with the consultant engineers, architect and obtain approval for each shop drawing that is submitted to the consultant.

4. Review shop drawings to ensure technical accuracy and ensure compliance with ACI codes/ project specification and safety of a construction project.

Shop drawings - Rebar/BBS, Formwork, Waterproofing, special doors, valve frame, tower crane, dewatering, shoring, pile, hollow core slab, steel structure etc.

5. Responsible for creating civil general arrangement/GA drawings visually represent the overall layout, sections, and structural elements of a project, ensuring accuracy, feasibility and compliance with ACI codes.

6. Responsible for creating architectural general arrangement/GA drawings.

7. Manage in-house drafting team, assign work and review of drawings done by draughtsman to minimize errors.

8. Planning and scheduling submissions according to baseline schedule/site requirement.

9. Assist project managers to create and share work plans and timelines.

10. Verifying structural components load carrying capacity by etabs/safe/staad if required.

11. Provide technical advice and guidance to the construction team, resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.

12. Inspect the site to ensure construction adheres to design specifications and safety standards.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
