Technical Engineer (civil)

Job Description
The Technical Engineer - Civil is responsible for providing engineering support to ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with design specifications and regulations. This role involves technical planning, coordination with on-site teams, interpretation of drawings, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret technical drawings, designs, and specifications. Provide on-site technical support and guidance during construction activities. Coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other engineering teams. Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Monitor progress and prepare reports related to schedule, quality, and materials. Perform site inspections and testing to ensure quality control and compliance. Resolve technical issues and recommend solutions in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of BOQs, cost estimates, and material take-offs. Manage documentation related to construction activities including RFI, submittals, and method statements. Support project planning, risk assessment, and budgeting tasks.
Requirements:Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent)
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or construction projects
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, or similar design software Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and organizational skills
