Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Technical Engineer

with proven experience in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, reviewing drawings, coordinating with consultants, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the project team in the successful execution of construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Coordinate with consultants, architects, and subcontractors for technical issues and drawing approvals. Prepare method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation in accordance with project requirements. Ensure all site activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations. Assist in resolving technical issues arising on site in a timely manner. Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to site engineers and supervisors. Liaise with the planning and procurement teams for timely availability of materials. Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and project managers for progress updates and technical clarifications. Support the QA/QC department in quality assurance tasks and non-conformance report (NCR) closures. Track engineering deliverables and ensure they meet project schedules and deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE construction industry. Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, DEWA/ADDC approvals (for MEP), and local authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DDA, ADM, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools (Primavera/MS Project preferred). Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred:

UAE driving license. Experience with high-rise, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
