Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Technical Engineer (Civil)
to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will support the design, execution, and technical coordination of civil and structural projects. The role involves reviewing drawings, managing technical submittals, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring projects meet design and quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret
civil and structural drawings, specifications, and project documents
. Providetechnical support
to the site and project management teams during all project phases. Prepare and reviewshop drawings, method statements, material submittals
, and RFIs. Ensure design compliance with project requirements, local codes, and international standards. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues. Participate invalue engineering
anddesign optimization
activities. Conductsite inspections
to ensure implementation aligns with approved designs. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress reporting from a technical standpoint. Support the tendering team with technical clarifications and documentation when required.Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
(Master's degree preferred but not required).5-8 years of experience
in civil construction or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge ofconstruction drawings, materials, and standards
. Proficiency inAutoCAD
,Revit
,MS Office
, and design/analysis tools. Excellent understanding ofstructural and finishing works
. Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
