Job Title: Technical Draftsman

Role Summary
We're looking for a technically strong Draftsman to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out / joinery works. The ideal candidate will work closely with design, site, and production teams to ensure drawings are accurate, buildable, and compliant with specifications, codes, and site conditions.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, elevations, sections, details for furniture, partitions, ceilings, doors, etc.
• Develop and revise drawings based on design intent, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), project specifications, and site feedback.
• Produce as-built drawings reflecting modifications or adjustments made on site.
• Generate cutting / fabrication lists and material schedules in collaboration with production/fabrication teams.
• Coordinate technical drawings with MEP, structural, architectural inputs to ensure compatibility.
• Ensure all drafts comply with local building codes, interior fit-out / joinery standards, safety and quality requirements.
• Perform site visits for measurement verification and to capture actual site conditions.
• Maintain drawing archives, version control, and manage revisions.
• Liaise with project managers, designers, site supervisors to resolve design / technical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years experience in technical drafting for interior fit-out and joinery projects. UAE / GCC experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is essential; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp or similar CAD/3D tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of materials, fabrication techniques, hardware, finishes etc. for joinery and interior elements.
• Ability to interpret architectural / interior design drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to accuracy, detail, measurement, and dimensioning.
• Good communication skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams (design / site / production).
• Ability to manage multiple drawing sets / projects, handle revisions, meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of local building codes, fit-out regulations, safety standards.
