Responsibilities:
- Ensure the maintenance and improvement of the assets of hotels under management contract.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations
- Manage maintenance budgets and monitor investment plans
- Supervise and mentor the Technical team, including recruitment, training and performance management.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs and ensure that repairs and maintenance tasks are carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to develop and implement cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering functions, preferably in the hospitality sector.
- Solid knowledge of safety, health and environmental standards and regulations
- Experience in managing maintenance budgets and investment plans
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor a diverse team of engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Fluency in Arabic, French and English
