Job Summary: Responsible for administering and organizing all technical design activities in cooperation with project managers, and the production manager to ensure flawless execution of the project. Duties:

• Technical Design

Coordinate the daily activities of the technical design team in accordance with project timelines and ensure that all deadlines are met. Ensure all drawing logs, drawings, interior design mock-ups, and renderings are done according to the prescribed standard and format including stating the revision status before issuing to the client for approval and production for manufacturing. Liaise with the project managers and sales team to ensure that all details are captured and reflected accurately in technical drawings issued to production. Use knowledge of materials and production processes to create designs that are cost-effective to manufacture while still maintaining the required standard required by the client. Coordinate with the Project Coordinator for approval of all technical drawings and joinery samples. Coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve any outstanding issues related to drawings Provide completed drawings to the Project Coordinator for submission. Coordinate with Production Department to collect joinery samples as per the project schedule and provide them to the Project Coordinator Manage changes to drawings for ongoing projects as received by the Project Manager or Project Coordinator

• Project Execution

Coordinate with the production team for technical clarification of drawings. Raise changes in drawings that may require a variation. Conduct periodic site inspections for joinery items to ensure that the joinery produced/fitted matches the drawings as well as identify technical issues that may impact costing or execution.
