This strategic leadership role demands an industry expert with deep technical knowledge, proven team leadership, and the ability to deliver innovative, compliant, and cost-effective facade solutions from concept design through fabrication, installation, and project completion.
Lead, mentor, and manage the facade design and engineering team, ensuring technically accurate, high-quality outputs across all project stages.
Establish and enforce design standards, workflows, and quality control procedures within the department.
Technical Oversight
Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of facade design drawings, engineering calculations, system details, and technical specifications.
Review, approve, and sign off on shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, mock-up documentation, and all technical deliverables.
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate closely with architects, structural consultants, project managers, and clients to develop optimized, buildable facade systems.
Participate in design coordination meetings and represent the organization on all technical facade matters.
Project Execution Support
Provide expert technical guidance throughout procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, and commissioning stages.
Resolve complex design, engineering, and site-related technical issues to maintain project alignment.
Value Engineering & Innovation
Lead value engineering initiatives, risk assessments, and system optimization to improve performance, constructability, and cost efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging facade technologies, materials, design trends, and industry advancements.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure all designs comply with UAE authority regulations and relevant international standards (Dubai Municipality, DCD, ASTM, EN, BS, etc.).
Ensure design deliverables meet project schedules, quality benchmarks, safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
Tender & Pre-Contract Support
Support tendering and business development teams with technical input, system selection, BOQs, preliminary designs, and feasibility studies when required.

Extensive experience with aluminum facade systems, curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, skylights, and specialty facade systems.

Strong understanding of fabrication processes, testing requirements, and installation methodologies.
