Mission

Support Customers by understanding their secured documents needs, promoting Thales IBS offer portfolio, building technical proposal answering customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and ensuring successful project deployment.

Responsibilities

For the customer he is in charge of, the Document Project manager (DPM):

Contributes to the capture plan led by the capture leader by identifying the secured documents related presales plan and coordinating its execution. Among other tasks it means to, directly or with the support of other Thales teams when needed,
  • Understand customer use cases, promote Thales offer answering his needs and support him to clarify his requirements.
  • Educate the customer on key topics such as Security, Holistic approach, typical project milestones, \xe2\x80\xa6
  • Train customer on standards, processes, AQL, Key ceremony, \xe2\x80\xa6
  • Provide samples and make demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with solution teams to promote end to end solutions.
  • Make sure the potential needs for products, resources, investments, \xe2\x80\xa6 are anticipated in the capture plan and pushed for decision.
Leads the document part of the tender in coordination with the Bid and Solution Management team. The main activities are:

Deliver the Document Work Package
  • Coordinate the technical answer according to the customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
  • Write the related part of the offer.
  • Coordinate samples definition and manufacturing if needed.
  • Perform the risks and opportunities analysis, propose the related mitigation plan including pre-award anticipation actions.
  • Gather and challenge product cost promoting roadmap offers, assessing custom developments, investments and resources costs to drive a cost-effective solution.
Manages the Documents project or Work Package during the Bids & Project phase, in coordination with Thales and external stakeholders. Among other tasks it means to, directly,
  • Specify the project or work package deliverables with the customer.
  • Develop a new product or customize an existing one.
  • Get it accepted by the customer, following the PAT, SAT, Pilot and first production batch steps.
  • Support the production ramp-up.
  • Monitors the product financials & technical performance, supporting the customer.
After Go Live (RUN phase), monitors Product financial performance & Supports the customer. Hand-over all relevant context to Customer service after acceptance of the first batch to manage the recurrent orders.
  • Manage with the customer the inspection of the recurrent deliveries (AQL session) when needed.
  • Answer all technical questions (crisis, issues, evolution requests, \xe2\x80\xa6) customer may have.
  • Manage Product end-of-life (EOL)
  • Monitors Product financial and industrial performances and propose improvement plans when appropriate.
  • Provide technical data to the demand plan monthly process.
Required background:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, electronic sciences or similar
  • At least 5 years in the field of product and project management
  • Project management experience (including claim & contract management)
  • iPMA (or other project management framework) is a plus.
Required hard skills:
  • Smart cards operating systems and application is a plus.
  • Standards / state of the art on ICAO, Cryptography, PKI, Global Platform, Common Criteria, and ISO is a plus.
  • Secured printing on plastic and paper, security features is a plus.
  • Manufacturing concepts
  • Good technical writing
Required soft skills
  • Strong leadership in international and multi-cultural matrix organization
  • Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, positive attitude
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Customer oriented, negotiation
  • Fluent English, preferably some additional regional language
