We are looking for a detail-oriented and safety-conscious
Technical Checker / Inspector
to join our team in the chemical logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in inspecting tank containers and ensuring all operations are performed according to quality, safety, and operational standards.Diploma in Mechanical Engineering QA/QC Certification Minimum
1 year
of relevant experience in a similar role Familiarity with tank container operations is an advantageJob Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspection of tank containers (rear, front, sides, top, underside) and record findings in the Equipment Interchange Receipt (EIR) Take photographs of visible damage and forward them to Operations for customer reporting Complete and distribute EIRs with details of required services (Cleaning, Heating, Inspection, Repair, etc.) Instruct Forklift Operator to accept or release tank containers upon EIR (IN/OUT) completion Verify seal numbers and issue cleaning certificates when compliant Update tank status and EIR data in the system
