We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical and Training Manager to lead technical support initiatives and develop training programs for our workshop and after-sales teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing technical capabilities, ensuring consistent service quality, and driving performance through knowledge development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement technical training programs for technicians, service advisors, and workshop staff.
Conduct regular training sessions on diagnostics, repair procedures, new technologies, and service standards.
Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to resolve complex repair and diagnostic cases.
Evaluate technical competency of workshop personnel and create personalized development plans.
Stay updated on manufacturer technical bulletins, service campaigns, and product updates.
Liaise with OEMs or technical partners to ensure training alignment and certification compliance.
Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, on-the-job evaluations, and feedback loops.
Lead root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and suggest corrective actions.
Prepare reports on training performance, technical trends, and improvement areas.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all technical operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a technical or training leadership role within the automotive industry.
Strong diagnostic and repair knowledge across multiple vehicle systems (mechanical, electrical, EV, etc.).
Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
Ability to design and deliver both classroom and hands-on training sessions.
Familiarity with OEM training systems, repair manuals, and technical documentation.
Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Technical Training, or related field.
