Our client is an innovative and global commodity trading firm currently experiencing massive and fast growth across Europe and the Middle East. The firm uses advanced analytics to help decisions making and technology forms the backbone of its business strategy. They are now looking for a talented Tech Lead (Python) to lead an exciting and complex portfolio of large-scale data projects from data processing to automation and analytics.

As a Tech Lead, you will be responsible for:
Taking full ownership of all projects from requirement gathering stage to product delivery
End-to-end project planning including resources, sprints, timelines
Reporting and resolving any issues related to the projects
Designing, documenting and sharing the project architecture with the team
Shaping the firm's best practices and processes
Ensuring the best development practices are in place and being followed by the development team
Owning the technical implementation of each project
Preparing, reviewing and owning all technical documentation
Mentoring, managing and coaching a high-performing team of 10 developers
As a Tech Lead, you will have the following skills/experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or similar field
7 years+ experience in Python
At least 2 years' experience working as a Backend Developer and 1 year experience in a leadership role
Proven experience in managing a small development team
Proven experience with frameworks like Django or Flask
Proven experience in developing Rest APIs
Proven experience working with AWS cloud and its services
Proven experience in processing and storing real-time, large volume data
Knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL
Knowledge of non-relational database like Timeseries DB
Must have experience with automation and testing tools including unit testing
Strong knowledge of DevOps/ CI/CD, Docker containers
Must have worked in an agile and collaborative environment
Must be willing to relocate to Dubai (relocation assistance is given)
