We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven

Team Leader

to manage our travel and tourism team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of

5 years of experience

within the UAE's vibrant tourism sector, a proven track record in

team management

, and a deep understanding of local attractions, tours, and travel logistics. This role involves leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of travel consultants to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Leadership

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of travel consultants, ensuring high performance and productivity. Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions to provide feedback, set goals, and address challenges. Develop and implement strategies to motivate the team and foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Handle complex customer queries and escalated issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.

2. Sales & Operations

Drive sales for a variety of travel products, including tours, excursions, visa services, and holiday packages. Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about current market trends, new destinations, and product offerings. Oversee the booking process, from initial inquiry to final confirmation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Work closely with suppliers, airlines, and hoteliers to secure the best rates and services.

3. Product Knowledge & Training

Maintain an in-depth understanding of the UAE's tourism landscape, including popular destinations, activities, and emerging trends. Train new and existing team members on company products, sales techniques, and customer service standards.

4. Client Relationship Management

Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and corporate partners to drive repeat business and referrals. Ensure the team provides top-notch customer service at every stage of the client journey. Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and enhance service quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of experience

in the travel and tourism industry within the UAE. Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of UAE tourist destinations, visa regulations, and travel logistics.
