Team Leader - Soft Services
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Team Leader for Soft Services to oversee and manage our cleaning, waste management, pest control, and landscaping teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, aesthetics, and environmental care are maintained across all facilities. You will be a hands-on leader, capable of managing people, processes, and client expectations to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Lead, schedule, train, and motivate a team of cleaners and soft services attendants. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Quality Control: Perform daily inspections of all assigned areas (offices, common areas, restrooms, etc.) to ensure compliance with established cleanliness and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage the stock of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials. Place orders in a timely manner to avoid shortages.
• Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives regarding soft services, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
• Procedure & Compliance: Develop and implement cleaning procedures, checklists, and schedules. Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and health & safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work completed, staff attendance, inventory levels, and incident reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in facility management is a plus.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a supervisory role within the soft services or cleaning industry.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment, and health & safety standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
