Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced and talented \xe2\x80\x9cTeam Leader - IT\xe2\x80\x9d for a reputed Gas manufacturing company. Only applicants with similar experience will be considered an application that does not match the criteria will not be considered.

- Lead & manage IT department.
- Providing on-going production support for the Oracle ERP financial and Supply Chain applications.
- Diagnosing, isolating, and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in software code, using knowledge of system characteristics, and utilizing software-based system maintenance and tracking tools.
- Preparing or providing input to written documentation for technical methods, procedures, functions, or processes to support the installation, operations, training, and maintenance of information technology systems or applications.
- Participating in system and acceptance testing and deployment readiness testing and rolling out the processes and the systems which support them.
- Evaluating results, correcting problems, and eliminating defects to ensure adherence to test plans.
- Lead, assist, plan to upgrade Oracle to R12.
- Design and Configure Network architecture of EIGC Internet
- Administration of Network connectivity for LAN and WAN
- Installation and troubleshooting of RedHat Linux 2.1 and 4.0 for Test, Vision Instances
- Installation client tools for Oracle Applications (Initiator)
- Configure Desk Jet, Dot-Matrix Printers for Oracle Applications.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Servers. (Backup Server, Mail Servers, Anti-Virus Servers and Web Server).
- Managing Time & Attendances Server for Payroll System
- End user support (Includes the troubleshooting of Software and Hardware Issues)
- Monitoring of Daily Back-ups (User files\xe2\x80\x99 backup, database backup).
- Coordination with the Telecommunication Dept. (Etisalat) to rectify complaints of Wan Link Connectivity
- Documentation of Backup and Recovery Operations
- Supporting external consultants (project implementers Technical / Functional)
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or MIS
- 10 years ORACLE ERP Financial & Supply Chain application technical experience
- 6 years Oracle PL/SQL, UNIX, LINUX, Oracle Reports.
- At least 3 full implementation cycle in Oracle Financial applications including (GL, AP, AR, FA, CE).
- At least 3 full implementation cycle in Oracle Supply Chain applications including (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Advance Pricing, Shipping Execution).
- Excellent presentation skills with good appearance
- Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
