Job Summary:
The Team Leader - Housekeeping is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are met. This role involves training staff, inspecting rooms and public areas, managing inventory, and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Team Management:

• Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and efficiency.
• Assign duties, schedules, and tasks to room attendants, housemen, and public area cleaners.
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure clear communication of expectations.

2. Quality Control & Inspections:

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness meets established standards.
• Address deficiencies and provide feedback to team members for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

3. Inventory & Supplies Management:

• Monitor and control housekeeping supplies, linen, and equipment inventory.
• Coordinate with the laundry department to ensure proper handling of linens.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up on repairs.

4. Guest Satisfaction & Service Excellence:

• Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints, ensuring high service standards.
• Ensure VIP rooms and special requests are handled with attention to detail.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude toward guests and team members.

5. Administrative Duties:

• Maintain records of room status, lost-and-found items, and maintenance logs.
• Assist in preparing reports on housekeeping performance, attendance, and inventory.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
