3. JOB PURPOSE: Lead, plan, Instrument & Process Control Engineering Service Team within functional discipline of Project & Technical Services Dept to provide Project, Design & Engineering, Site Operation Support within Company, ADNOC Group of Companies and shareholders.

Provide Technical Authority role for ADNOC Sour Gas facility and SME for the ADNOC group of Companies. Review and approve all Engineering Design work ensuring compliance of Company, following International standards and safety.

4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accountability 1 Provide engineering services support in the field of Instrument & process Control engineering design, survey & cartography and maintaining engineering and technical standards & documentation. Maintain all Company's Engineering Documents & Drawings and provide access to end users Site Operation & Maintenance and Abu Dhabi HQ other discipline. Manage, execute and deliver as built schemes to update data for the company's site operational areas. Develop and endorse Company's Engineering Design Standards and code of Practices. Develop and endorse Company's Standards and code of Practices. Approve authority for Engineering Design, Engineering, and implementation for new and existing project. Authorize Management of Change, deviations from standard practices on Engineering Design, Survey and Documentation issues. Manage and maintain fully computerized PDMS, Cartography systems and continuously update with the latest technology. Ensure standards, codes of practice and specification related to design, survey and documentation are consistently applied. Resolve Contractor's technical queries related to engineering design, survey work and documentation. Provide expertise and support to Project Divisions by reviewing and approving key document / deliverables throughout VAP life cycle stages. Maintain the technical adequacy, completeness and quality of all Engineering Design, Survey and Cartographic deliverables within schedule. Maintain and manage technical documents, drawings, layout and reports for all existing and new projects. Ensure the development and management of the Engineering Services Team schedule of product deliveries working with Assets, Departmental and Shareholders entities to set priority against available resources and budgets. Provide support to Site for Instrumentation, Process Control & Automation in more cost-effective solutions and value addition. Ensure effective implementation of Maintenance, shutdown programs and modification to achieve enhanced plant safety, integrity, availability & reliability. Provide support and Lead the team for effective failure analysis, bad actor's, conduct & participate RCAs for plant reliability improvement. Guide the team to develop solutions for problem resolution, plan and implement the solution in a time bound manner. Provided technical inputs to various upgrade and obsolescence issue being addressed by site and assist for effective implementation of various Control system and field Instrumentation upgrade/replacement projects to maintain the I&C and Automation system safety & Integrity. Provide Technical input for project activities and participate in HAZOP/SIL studies. Train and develop the assigned YDP's on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Generic Accountabilities Management Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the Section to achieve the Department objectives in an efficient and cost-conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved operational plans for the Section in line with Department objectives. Develop the knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Section and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP's), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the Section in coordination with the Human Capability Group to continuously develop employees with emphasis on UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets. Budgets and Operational Plans Compile and provide input for preparation of the Department budgets and regularly monitor expenditure against approved the Section budget levels. Investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures Lead the implementation of approved Section policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls in order to support execution of the Department work programs in line with Company and International standards. Performance Management Implement the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the Section in accordance with Company approved guidelines and continuously monitor the achievement of the Section KPIs related to the approved Annual Performance Management Contract and the Balanced Score Card. Organisation Structure and Development Review, develop and recommend the appropriate organisation structure for the Section that will best utilise human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to meet the business objectives. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Encourage innovation, enhance employee motivation and support initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve operations and services. Propose improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the Section. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Section in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices. Ensure adequate HSE training and induction for all Section employees to meet HSE standards. Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reports Prepare all Section MIS and progress reports to provide accurate and timely reports and necessary information to Company Management to effectively manage the business.

5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal VP, Project and Technical Centre to provide information and reports, and receive directions. Co-ordination with other engineering discipline and Site Operation Team on regular basis on ongoing operation and technical issues

External ADNOC HQ and Other OPCOs for work coordination and knowledge sharing. Engineering Consultant, FEED/EPC Contractors, Third Party Vendors, Service Providers, etc.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills 10 years of experience in Instrument, Control & Automation maintenance and other relevant engineering disciplines including at least 3 years in professional engineering and supervisory role.

Skills Knowledge of Gas Operations, Process Knowledge of IT applications like Business Intelligence (BI) for Data Analysis Knowledge of decision analysis, strategy assessment and techno-economic analysis. Knowledge of organizational and business processes and staff dynamics Planning and strategic thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to educate and motivate Experience working with multi-discipline teams Decision analysis and excellent report writing skills Excellent oral and written English

Physical Effort Work Environment

95% of worktime is spent in the office with minimal physical effort exerted. 5% of the worktime is spent in walking & standing. Regular visits to company assets. 95% of duties are performed in an A/C atmosphere. Exposed to prevailing weather and plant conditions for 5% of worktime.
