What You'll Do

• Assist teachers in classroom and reading-related activities to support student learning
• Manage small group activities inside or outside the classroom as directed
• Prepare, organize, and tidy classroom materials and displays
• Photocopy worksheets and teaching resources as required
• Provide short-term class cover in case of emergencies
• Help maintain stock cupboards and distribute learning materials efficiently
• Develop understanding of core curriculum areas including literacy, numeracy, and phonics
• Support teachers in maintaining an engaging and orderly classroom environment
• Ensure confidentiality, tact, and professionalism at all times
• Contribute to staff meetings, committees, and wider school initiatives

Ideal Profile

• Strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English
• ICT knowledge and basic computer proficiency preferred
• Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and work collaboratively
• Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their learning journey
