Teaching Assistant (Maternity Cover)

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave from January - July 2023.

The role of the Teaching Assistant is a vital one at BIS Abu Dhabi and is designed to support teachers in helping children to overcome barriers to learning. TA's will normally work within the classroom and may work with individual children, small groups or the whole class. They may also be called upon to support children who have learning or behavioural difficulties and those with English as an additional language.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Degree level education (desirable)
• Background in teaching (desirable)
• High level of international and inter-cultural understanding (essential)
• High level of fluency in written and spoken English (essential)

Candidates will already be based in the UAE.

Selection Process

Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Line Manager.

Interviews will be conducted in school.

Start date will be 2nd January 2023.
