We are looking for an outstanding PE Teacher specialising in Strength & Conditioning to join our team at GEMS Metropole School, Motor City from September 2023. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a strength and conditioning programme for sports, with three major goals of improving athletic performance, reducing athletic injuries, and teaching lifelong fitness and movement skills. Devising training plans according to sound scientific principles, supervises training sessions, evaluate athletes, maintains athlete records, and teaches strength and conditioning classes as required. • A B.Ed or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
• Proven experience of teaching PE to Key Stage 4
• The ability to share your outstanding practice
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
• Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
