A well-established UK curriculum school in Dubai is seeking
qualified Teachers for French Language
to teach acrossPrimary
andSecondary
levels. The successful candidates will bring energy, subject expertise, and a passion for language learning, fostering communication and cultural appreciation among students.Responsibilities
Plan and deliver effective French lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum. Develop students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in French. Prepare students for internal and external examinations (GCSE / A Level). Differentiate instruction to support mixed-ability learners. Maintain assessment records and provide timely feedback. Contribute to language clubs and extracurricular activities.
Requirements (as per KHDA Teacher Appointment Regulations 2025-26)
Bachelor's Degree in
Education (B.Ed)
, orBachelor's Degree in
French / Modern Languages / Linguistics
with a recognisedTeacher Preparation Qualification
(PGCE / PGDE / Level 5-6 Diploma in Education).Qualifications must be
attested
andUAE-equated
by the Ministry of Education. Minimum1 year
of teaching experience for Primary;2 years
for Secondary. Native or near-native fluency inFrench
and strong proficiency inEnglish
. ValidPolice Clearance Certificate
(UAE and previous countries of residence for the past 5 years).Medical Fitness Certificate
(UAE). Eligibility forKHDA Appointment Notice
andEducator Permit
. Completion of KHDA's mandatory professional development modules: Child Protection & Safeguarding Inclusion & People of Determination Moral Education & WellbeingTwo professional references
